Sinclair Sophomore earns 5th Volleyball Player of the Week honor this year

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Elizabeth Sicking (Sinclair) and Bobby Diamond (Columbus State) are the OCCAC Volleyball Players of the Week for Oct. 7-13. Both are repeat performers from earlier this season and as freshmen in 2018.

Nicole Sicking (5-11 / Sophomore – Fairfield H.S.) hauls in her 10th career weekly league honor. She was dominate in a road win at Edison State, blasting 21 kills at .500 clip (21-2-38) and digging 18 balls in the three-set sweep (6.00/set).
Sicking sniped the Chargers for three points from the service stripe as well, running her points per set average to a hefty 8.00.
Sinclair now 21-5 on the season and 10-2 in the conference will play two critical OCCAC matches this weekend on the road. The matches this Friday at Cuyahoga and Saturday at Lakeland could move Sinclair into the #1 seed from Ohio going into the NJCAA District Tournament in November.
All home games are played in Building 8 Arena on the downtown Dayton campus.
