Sinclair Sophomore earns 3rd Volleyball Player of the Week honor this year

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – A milestone-reaching performance from Columbus State’s Audrey Jenkins was accompanied by OCCAC Player of the Week accolades while Elizabeth Sicking from Sinclair brought home her third weekly league award through five weeks of the 2019 season. Jenkins recorded the 1,000th assist of her career and Sicking now owns eight OCCAC Player of the Week recognitions

Elizabeth Nicole Sicking (5-11/SO – Fairfield H.S./Hamilton, OH) flashed both offensively and defensively, putting forth 4.00 kills and 2.33 digs per set in a four-match week for the Tartan Pride. She contributed no less than 13 kills in all contests, including an 18-kill performance in sweeping past Macomb.

Sinclair now 14-5 on the season and 5-2 in the conference, will play this weekend on the road at Lorain County and Terra State.
