24th Annual Dayton Mud Volleyball for Epilepsy

On July 12, 2014, the Sinclair women's volleyball team volunteered to referee at the 24th Annual Dayton Mud Volleyball for Epilepsy, that is organized by the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio. This is a big event in Dayton, which has 286 teams taking part in this event with 35 mud courts the whole day event from 9 am to 6 pm. The team volunteered from 9 am to 1 pm. Each year this event raises more than $100,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation.

The Epilepsy Foundation leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome challenges created by epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio has an eleven county service area that assists those facing epilepsy. All proceeds from the event go to support the Foundation in its endeavors. Sanctuary Senior Living Recreation Time

On July 8, 2014, the Sinclair women's volleyball team spent two hours with the seniors at Sanctuary Senior Living at Wilmington Place playing volleyball and singing songs to them during their recreation time. The seniors were having a lot of fun and challenged the players in volleyball. They enjoyed their company and songs, and at the end they asked us to come back again!
