Sinclair Volleyball Volunteers at Epilepsy Mud Volleyball Event

Dayton, OH – Members of the Sinclair Volleyball team spent Saturday the 11th of July volunteering at the 2015 Mud Volleyball Tournament to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio (EFWO).

Bring great in the three C’s (Classroom, Community & Competition) has been a long time staple of the Sinclair Athletic Department.  Not more than a month after receiving the news that the 2014-15 Volleyball team earned NJCAA All-Academic team honors with a commutative GPA of 3.00 or greater, they were back in the community with a big splash (muddy one at that).

This is the 25 year Muddiversary of the event with an estimated 5,000 participants this year, all raising more than $50,000 for EFWO.

The tournament offers both competitive and non-competitive events with all proceeds benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio.  The mission of EFWO is to lead the fight to stop seizures, find a cure, and overcome challenges created by epilepsy.  EFWO provides programs and services for those living with seizure disorders in our 11 county Miami Valley service area, free of charge.

Thank you and congratulation to our Volleyball team as they continue to be great in the three C’s
