Sinclair Freshman earns back to back Volleyball Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Elizabeth Nicole Sicking (Sinclair Community College) and Bobby Diamond (Columbus State Community College) each picked up their second OCCAC Player of the Week honor through the season’s first four weeks. This also marks Columbus State’s third consecutive D-III honor after Edan Jones received the recognition last week

Elizabeth Nicole Sicking (5-11/FR – Fairfield H.S./Hamilton, OH)
defends her OCCAC D-II Player of the Week standing, bringing home a second straight laurel. For the most recent distinction, she attacked .510 in averaging 5.80 kills per set in a pair of conference victories. Sicking added two aces and a block for a total of 32 points in five sets played (6.40/set).

Sinclair (9-7/4-1 OCCAC) has a busy week coming up with three home matches starting Tuesday against Cedarville JV then Wednesday against Clark State.  Friday will end the week with an OCCAC rival match against Edison State.

All home games are played in Building 8 Arena on the downtown Dayton campus.
