SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – For the second time this season, Elizabeth Sicking (Sinclair) and Bobby Diamond (Columbus State) have been named the OCCAC Volleyball Players of the Week in the same week. This also marks the third weekly recognition for each honoree in 2018

Elizabeth Nicole Sicking (5-11/FR – Fairfield H.S./Hamilton, OH) brings home her third D-II Player of the Week accolade after going back-to-back on Sept. 10 and 17. For her latest laurel, Sicking blasted 5.90 kills per set at a .379 attacking rate during the Tartan Pride’s 3-0 week. In addition to her 6.55 points/set, she also contributed 3.80 digs/set

Sinclair (17-10/7-2 OCCAC) had a very successful week winning all three matches that included a conference victory over visiting Lorain County on Friday night.  Continuing this four match OCCAC run, Sinclair will host Columbus State Wednesday in its annual Pink Night.  They then return to the road for a rematch with Lorain on Friday night before heading over to Owens for a tri-match.  As Sinclair is chasing both Columbus State and Owens in the OCCAC standings, this will be a pivotal week for the Pride.
