Sinclair Volleyball Volunteers at Epilepsy Mud Volleyball Event

Dayton, OH – Members of the Sinclair Volleyball team spent Saturday the 21st of July volunteering at the 2018 Mud Volleyball Tournament to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio (EFWO).

Bring great in the three C’s (Classroom, Community & Competition) has been a long time staple of the Sinclair Athletic Department.  Last academic year, Sinclair athletes volunteered over 1,500 hours at various events and charities.

This year the event hosted 268 teams on 35 courts all on one day, and raised an estimated $50,000 for EFWO.

The tournament offers both competitive and non-competitive events with all proceeds benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio.  The mission of EFWO is to lead the fight to stop seizures, find a cure, and overcome challenges created by epilepsy.  EFWO provides programs and services for those living with seizure disorders in our 11 county Miami Valley service area, free of charge.

Thank you and congratulation to our Volleyball team as they continue to be great in the three C’s
