Sinclair Volleyball falls short against #1 Owens

Dayton, OH – The Sinclair (19-9/10-4 OCCAC) Volleyball could not match the power and size of Owens (29-0/11-0 OCCAC) as the Express remained unbeaten.  Despite a brilliant effort, Owens capitalized on every Sinclair error and made the home team pay in the 3-0 result.

All three matches were mirror images of each other as the Tartan Pride played mostly even except for a few errors in each set that would cost the home team.

Caroline Smith (SO-Tecumseh HS) collected 16 assists and Sarah Bettinger (SO-Anna HS) had a team high 11 kills, which gives her 651 career kills ranking her 6th all-time at Sinclair.

Sinclair will travel to Miami-Middletown Wednesday for a non-conference match then return home for their last to home matches October 24th & 25th.  The 25th is Sophomore Night as the Tartan Pride host OCCAC foe Hocking College at 6pm.

All home games are played in Building 8 Arena on the downtown Dayton campus.
