Sinclair Volleyball Reineke earns 2nd Team All-American

Dayton, OH – Two time All-Conference Meg Reineke (SO-Outside Hitter/New Knoxville, OH) earns NJCAA Division II 2nd Team All-American honors. 

Meg had an outstanding sophomore year earning 1st Team All-Conference and was named OCCAC Player of the Week September 11th.  She was also 1st Team All-Region XII and was named to the NJCAA District F All-Tournament Team as Sinclair finished runner-up to Owens.

As her career came to a close, she had collected over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in her two years at Sinclair.  Named 1st Team All-Conference both years as well as being named the OCCAC player of the Week twice.  Meg joined an elite group on Oct. 31, 2015, she was named the NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week.

The sophomore Captain finished this year ranked 2nd in the nation with 4.62 kills per set and leading the Pride to a Top 20 National Ranking.

The Pride finished second in the OCCAC with a record of 12-2, with the only two losses coming at the hands of Owens.  Going into the District Tournament as the number 2 seed, Sinclair had to battle the #1 seed Owens Express again to advance.  Once again it came down to a match-up between the programs with Owens advancing to the National Tournament.
