Sinclair Volleyball Earns Win against Lakeland Community College

 

Dayton, OH – The Sinclair (11-5/3-1) Volleyball team opens up an important conference weekend with a hard fought match against visiting Lakeland CC (6-7/1-4) Lakers.

The first game was the opening to an intense match between The Pride and The Lakers. The Pride dominated but The Lakers were able to regroup and come back stronger.

Impressive blocking from both teams was the result of close and intense games. It was play after play but The Lakers were still able to get ahead and win the third game.

The Pride, with lots of effort and focus, fought back to win the fourth game of the night. It was a long game but The Pride pulled through and earned the win.

Meg Reineke (5-10/SO – New Knoxville H.S.) showed another strong performance with 26 kills and 24 digs. Caroline Smith (5-3/FR – Tecumseh H.S.) also helped with 48 assists followed by Sarah Bettinger (5-9/FR – Anna H.S.) with 15 kills.

The Pride will continue conference play this weekend as they play Cuyahoga Community College at home.

 

All home games are played in Building 8 on the downtown Dayton campus.
