Sinclair Volleyball Tunes Up for Conference with Win Over Cedarville JV
Dayton, OH – The Sinclair (10-5/2-1) Volleyball team earned another win at home against visiting Cedarville University JV (2-2) from Cedarville, Ohio.
The Pride came out strong with a 14-point lead in the first match. The Yellow Jackets started off with the lead but The Pride didn’t stay too behind before catching up and eventually leading the match. It was a perfect combination of strong plays followed by strong attacks that earned The Pride a win.
The second match of the game consisted of a good rally from both teams. The Pride had a good run and stayed at least 5 points ahead most of the match. It was attack after attack from both teams but The Pride’s strong responses to the attacks is what helped them keep the lead throughout the match.

The Pride and The Yellow Jackets stayed a lot closer in the third match. Strong plays made for a very good, long run from The Pride. Although it was mostly a close match, The Pride pulled through with a 5-point lead which earned them another win.
The Pride’s strong, solid communication amongst each other has helped to make for even stronger plays. They seem to have a good system going which will guarantee more wins for the rest of the season.

The Tartans will have another busy weekend ahead of them with Conference games both played at home.
All home games are played in Building 8 on the downtown Dayton campus.
