Sinclair Volleyball continues winning streak
Dayton, OH – The Sinclair (12-5/4-1) Volleyball team continued the OCCAC weekend with another conference win against the visiting Cuyahoga CC (8-5/3-2) Challengers.
The Pride’s strong communication amongst each other was key to end the weekend with a win. Plays are getting more aggressive which allow for more frequent attacks.
It was an easy run for The Pride in the first game. The Challengers regrouped and were able to hold a fight in the second game but The Pride still pulled through.
Digs and kills have been a major factor in the last couple of wins for The Pride. The system they have been working on has been very efficient and should continue to earn more wins for The Pride.
Meg Reineke (5-10/SO – New Knoxville H.S.) continued her strong performance for the weekend with 11 kills. Caroline Smith (5-3/FR – Tecumseh H.S.) pulled another impressive 20 assists followed by Sarah Bettinger (5-9/FR – Anna H.S.) with 8 kills and 3 aces. Lauren Roetgerman (9-10/SO – Minsters H.S.) also contributed 7 kills for the win.
