Sinclair Volleyball’s Jessica Thobe is Named the OCCAC Player of the Week for the Second Time this Season

Dayton, OH – Jessica Thobe was named the OCCAC Player of the Week for the second time this season.  In the week that Thobe was named Player of the Week, the Sinclair volleyball team (29-4, 7-2) won all four matches beating University of Cincinnati Clermont, Cincinnati State, Owens Community College, and Lorain County.  Sinclair dropped their match last night against Columbus State who was undefeated in conference play.  The match was hard fought and went to five sets.

Sinclair Volleyball Player #10 Jessica Thobe All-American Jessica Thobe, had a career high night in the kills and digs column in the loss against Columbus State with 31 kills and 30 digs. Marie Rank added 12 kills.  Tara Eades had a career high 57 assists and Freshman Carly Butler recorded 30 digs.

Sinclair's next home match will be a tri-match on Saturday, October 19, 2013.  Sinclair will host Berea University and University of Cincinnati Clermont.  Game times are set for 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:30 PM and will take place in Building 8 at Sinclair Community College.
