Amanda Schroeder (6-00/FR – Carroll H.S.) lifted Sinclair to a top-10 victory last week, pushing the Tartan Pride past No. 8 Owens by a final score of 67-59. She played all 40 minutes while handing Owens its first conference loss of the year. Schroeder scored 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting (2-for-5 from long range) and knocking down all six foul shots. She added three rebounds, an assist and steal to her fourth player of the week winning performance this season.

Sinclair is off to a blistering 15-2 start and 5-0 in the OCCAC that includes five games scoring over 100 points.  The Pride will travel to OCCAC opponent Clark State on Wednesday before traveling up I-75 on Saturday to face off against Edison State in a battle of the last two undefeated teams in the conference.
