Sinclair Women’s Basketball Roetgerman named OCCAC Player of the Week

NJCAA Division II OCCAC WBB Player of the Week

Lauren Roetgerman (5-10/FR – Minster HS), recorded a season-high 23 points twice in a pair of wins for Sinclair Community College last week. In doing so, she averaged 23 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 3.5 steals and two blocks per game.


In her team's 87-58 win over Columbus State, Roetgerman had 23 points, six rebounds, three steals, three blocks and one assist while shooting 9-for-15 from the field (5-for-10 from 3-point range). Then, in a 74-43 win over Lakeland Community College, she had 23 points on 9-for-17 shooting along with seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block.

Roetgerman, who joined the team late this year after also playing volleyball, is now averaging 10.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game for Sinclair (18-4 overall, 7-3 OCCAC). In conference play, she is averaging 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.4 steals and one assist per game.

Sinclair Women play at Cincinnati State on Wednesday and at Owens on Saturday.

All home games are played in Building 8 on the downtown Dayton campus.
