Sinclair Women’s Basketball Evans named OCCAC Player of the Week

 Springfield, Ohio---The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) has named Jaylen Tucker (Owens) and Aaryn Evans (Sinclair) as the player of the week recipients in men's and women's basketball, respectively.

Aaryn Evans (6-00/FR – Thurgood Marshall H.S.) produced 26 points, 15 rebounds (nine offensive) and three steals to lead Sinclair Community College to a 96-53 win over Ohio State University's Lima branch campus. She finished 12-for-20 from the field and 2-for-3 from the foul line.

Evans, a freshman forward, has averaged 11.9 points, 13.1 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game this year for Sinclair, which has started the season 7-1 overall entering tomorrow's home game against Cedarville University's JV team

Sinclair Women play at home next and open conference play on December 10th at 1:00 PM against Lakeland Community College.

All home games are played in Building 8 on the downtown Dayton campus.
