Sinclair Women’s Basketball volunteered during Thanksgiving

Dayton, Ohio- The Tuesday before Thanksgiving most college students are getting ready to spend time with family and friends.  This year the Sinclair Women’s Basketball team found time to reach out to a family and community in need.

In her first full season as the Head Women’s Basketball coach, Victoria Jones took her team to the newly founded Restoration Church of Jesus Christ where they spent time with a family that had just lost a loved one.  It was an act of murder that brought the community together in fellowship for the family, and the members of the Women’s Basketball team joined others in the community to serve and help heal.

Pastor Steve Saucer had the following to say about the Women’s Basketball team.  “First of all, we want to thank Coach Jones and the Sinclair Women’s Basketball team for being a willing vessel to help us serve on this day.  They displayed great character and it lets me know that Sinclair Community College has some great leaders that is showing these student-athletes the right path.”
