Akiean Frederick and Reanna Dudley named OCCAC Players of the Week

Dayton, Ohio---Due to the expanding nature of Division II and Division III teams within the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) for men's and women's basketball, the OCCAC will be expanding its player of the week awards for the first time in conference history.
Thus, this week's OCCAC player of the week recipients are as follows:
OCCAC (Division II) WBB Player of the Week
Reanna Dudley, Sinclair C.C.
Reanna Dudley (5-04/SO – Chaminade Julienne H.S.) averaged 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals in her team's two games last week, which included a 74-67 win over Columbus State and a 78-56 loss to Owens. She combined to shoot 10-for-23 from the field, while adding eight rebounds, six assists and six steals.
OCCAC (Division II) MBB Co-Player of the Week
Akiean Frederick, Sinclair C.C. and Devon Robinson, Cuyahoga C.C.
Akiean Frederick (6-9/SO – Columbus Franklin Heights H.S.) averaged 25 points, 12.5 rebounds, three assists and 2.5 blocks over two games last week, which included a 91-87 win over Columbus State and an 84-81 loss to Owens. He finished 19-for-36 from the field and 11-for-16 from the foul line. He produced 17 rebounds in the win over Columbus State and totaled 25 rebounds, six assists, one steal and five blocks during the week. This is the third time this season Akiean has earned OCCAC Player of the Week honors.
