Sophomore infielder Colin Shepherd has committed to play at Miami University.
Shepherd had a good freshmen season, as the team’s everyday second basemen. At the plate, he hit .281 and drove in 23 runs, with an on-base percentage of .398. Defensively, he was outstanding, turning in one of the best seasons in program history. His versatility allows him to play anywhere in the infield, and he will spend time at both short and second this season. Off the field, Colin will graduate this spring with an Associate’s Degree.
Congrats to Colin, and we wish him the best of luck.
