Sophomore pitcher Glen Richardson has signed with the Texas Rangers.
Richardson was selected in the 29th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft. As a freshmen, Glen played a major role in the success of the pitching staff. He started a few games and worked out of the pen, finishing the season with a 2.91 ERA and a team high 65 strikeouts. His record was 5-0 and he recorded one save. An injury over the summer led to Glen missing his entire sophomore season. During his rehab, Richardson worked extremely hard and in one of his controlled bullpens, his fastball topped at 98mph.
Congrats to Glen and we wish him the best of luck!
