Heading into the 6th inning, the Pride lead Tiffin 12-7, and Azim Qadri was 3-3 with two doubles, and a hit by pitch. When the inning was over, the score was 27-7, and Qadri had himself a rare cycle. Qadri hit a grand slam, and finished the inning off with a triple in the gap. He finished the game with a new Sinclair record of 10 RBI's in one game. The Tartan offense collected 18 hits total, as Qadri finished with five, and Blaze Glenn, Sean Darmafall, and Brandon Henson had two apiece.
Both teams battled the elements, as it rained for the first six innings of the game. John Cheatwood picked up his second win, tossing an inning and a third in relief of starter Mitchell Morris. The win moves Sinclair to 5-1 on the early season with #14 Kellogg coming to town this weekend.
