(11)Sinclair baseball jumps to #11 this week

March 22, 2017

Dayton, Ohio-The Sinclair baseball (10-3) moved up 4 spots this week and holds steady at #11 in the NJCAA Division II baseball poll.

Fighting typical spring weather in Ohio, the Pride was able to squeeze in 4 games this past week.

March Madness is usually reserved as a basketball term but baseball in Ohio during March creates its own madness with scheduling. Even though the weather has stayed cold, the Sinclair bats are as hot as any in Region 12.

The Pride has scored 112 runs over 13 games and hammered out 7 home runs that includes a Grand Slam.

Sinclair is the only Region 12 team ranked in the Top 20 and is moving toward another post-season run.

This weekend, the Pride will travel to Keyser West Virginia to take on Potomac State College of WVU in a three game series.

All home games are played at Athletes in Action in Xenia, OH.
